Great ground beef nachos!!!! sooooooooooo good. Comes with a bag of tortilla chips and salsa. YUMMMMMMMMMMM. I get these to go occasionally.
But.......... they are never ready when I get there. No matter how many times or how much time given to them. Hence, the 4 stars and not five.
Very good food. Service, not so good. -

This place used to be good. Not any more. Don't eat here. The service was very slow even thought the place was almost empty. The food was not good. They were supposed to give 20% off on TCU game day for wearing TCU colors but didn't. When questioned moments later the cashier said, "too bad, you should have reminded me." I would rather eat a hot dog from Quick Trip than eat at there again.

Fajitas came out hot and ready to eat! The salsa is great here. If your lucky you might have the harp being played at dinner. Nice place for the locals.

My first time here. Located directly across the street from the Marriott SpringHill Suites I happened to be staying at so decided to give it a try. It's a Monday night and looks pretty empty from the outside. When I walked in I was told to I could sit anywhere I wanted to sit. The interior looks old. I learned that this is the original Pulido's restaurant. And it's been here for 50 years.
I ordered the chili relleno dinner stuffed with seasoned ground beef and covered with ranchero sauce with charro beans and Mexican rice. The poblano peppers were overcooked and the ground beef needed a bit more seasoning. The beans and rice were good though. I didn't expect the poblano pepper to be very spicy but towards the end of the second one it started getting pretty spicy especially since the seeds were still in the peppers.
There was a musician playing the harp which was actually quite nice. You don't pay your server when it's time to pay. Instead you take the check up to the front and pay there.
My server told me the specialty here are the enchiladas so next time I'll try them. -

I ordered the chicken fajitas quesadillas. They were not very huge and over priced for what you got. This is defiently a mom and pop restaurant. Low key atmosphere with what looked like regulars in the dining room. I probably wont be back since the food was not super amazing. The waitress at least was super nice.
